Artifact 4.1 Narrative:Develops a personal vision of inclusive educational practice.
Within the final week of the class “Integration and Management of Computers in Education” we were asked to reflect on how our vision of technology education has evolved. Within this reflection I express how my vision has really become more practical. I have been exposed to scenarios and assignments where I see the role of a tech educator as more meaningful. Along those lines, I have been given the opportunity to create courses online with real courseware that distance learning programs use (i.e. Blackboard). I gained more experience working with teams to collaborate towards a common goal, whether that be the design of a course or analyzing a case study. In one statement I would say my personal vision for the inclusion of technology in educational practice is that all classrooms will get the chance to use technology effectively, leading young minds to new heights in creativity and collaboration. My vision will continue to grow as I gain more experience and practice in the field of educational technology and learning design.
